Laboratory facilities

        The department has well contended labs, excellent infrastructure and dedicated team of faculty members to impart practical knowledge to the students in better way. It assimilates all the facilities and equipments that inculcate modern trends and application of electronics and instruments to the students.

Process Control and Transducers

        This laboratory has computerized process stations for level, pressure, flow and temperature, Advanced Cascade Control Loop with Smart Transmitter, PLCs with application trainers and various transducer modules. It facilitates the students in learning advanced process control applications and gaining knowledge in software tools like MATLAB 7.0, SCADA etc.

        All equipments are established with industrial standards which will help the students to adopt themselves in the industrial environment in future. Also it paves a way for students to develop their thirst in the field of Research and Development.

Microprocessor Laboratory

        This laboratory facilitates students in programming and interfacing microprocessor. It is here, the students master the method of designing microprocessor based systems. The laboratory is equipped with kits based on 8085, Z80, 8086, 8051, 8097, and a variety of interfacing kits.

Design Project laboratory

        This laboratory exploits intelligence and imaginations, blending each proportionately to bring out innovation and creativity. Extensive facilities for VLSI designing are also provided.

Virtual Instrumentation Laboratory

        This additional laboratory was established to enable the students to have more access to practical knowledge. The LAB view software helps the student to simulate any kind of a real time program before testing it on hardware. The lab provides hands on experience to analyze and simulate the latest trends in the field of instrumentation.
